Sivaran (pronounced SEE-vah-rahn) is a city in the Viridian province of Casabon. Located at one of the mouths of the Casabon River along the Phiora Sea, much of the traffic along the river passed through Sivaran and the city has prospered from the resulting trade.
Sivaran is home to a large population of the families and descendants of political dissidents who fled Koriten. After the beginning of Talam Galta's war for independence, many returned to the land across the sea to aid in its rebellion and in the formation of its nascent government, but a significant number remained, having long ago embedded themselves into the culture and social structures of Sivaran.
House Corvus is the dominant senatorial family in Sivaran.
