Highwater is a town in the Viridian province of Andera. Located in the arid and sparsely populated central Thadrian uplands, Highwater was established by the Viridian legions as a military outpost as they expanded the Dominion east across Thadria in the late eighth millennium. Though it has slowly grown into a well-established town since then, the settlement remains small, as there is little in the surrounding lands to pull new residents to Highwater. The dry landscape is poorly suited to agriculture - though it has its own challenges, particularly the ever-present threat of ogres, many in Highwater make their livings as hunters.
