Telmissus (pronounced tell-MY-suss) is a city in the Viridian province of Attalea Minor. It is located on and around a large hill overlooking where the Ispar River flows into the Phiora Sea. Though this fact is not widely known outside Telmissus, the hill is in fact not natural but rather an immense tell under which lies the remains of several prior ancient settlements of various provenance, including cyclopean, minotaur, and others that have yet to be identified. Some scavengers and adventurers attempt to recover what they can from these ruins when the opportunity arises, especially when ground is broken on new construction, but by and large the city's inhabitants are content to leave the remains of the past alone, especially as many graves are known to lie under their homes.
