Carmora (pronounced car-MORE-ah) is a city in the Viridan province of Attalea Major, located on the shores of a small bay in the Sea of Ersas. Carmora grew slowly over the centuries from a small fishing village to one of the larger Viridian settlements in the Ersas, now visited frequently by traders and travelers passing through the Tanerde Strait to the Phiora Sea. It is well-known for its cured olives.
The senatorial family House Asellus, who has their primary estates near the city, are the dominant local political force. They frequently hold the governorship of the city and its surroundings, but in general are more focused on their responsibilities and duties as one of the ruling families of Izgrev.
