Lycus (pronounced LIE-kuss) is a city in the Viridan province of Attalea Major, located on the southern coast of the Phiora Sea. A relatively young city by the standards of the region, Lycus was a minor fishing village until the loss of Bratun in the independence war of Pasuhalta & Kamman left the Dominion without a major port in the Phiora in which to house its remain navy. Rather than use a more prominent existing port, like Apamea or Sivaran, Lycus was chosen instead, in large part due to its relative proximity to the capital in Ilirnas. The city has grown massively in the meantime, yet it remains one of the smaller major cities in the province.
