Synnada (pronounced sin-NAH-dah) is a city in the Viridian province of Attlea Major, located on the southern shores of Lake Caanthus. The aqueducts that direct water from the lake to cities like Karakisa, Carmora, and Severn begin near Synnada, and most of the engineers, soldiers, and laborers responsible for maintaining these structures therefore live in the city. It was, in fact, intentionally grown from a small farming village into its modern-day size for explicitly this purpose.
The main thoroughfares and buildings of state in Synnada were built in a quasi-cyclopean design, though unlike some cities in the central Thadrian highlands no actual cyclopean craftsmanship was involved.
