The Kafizin River (pronounced cah-FEE-zin) is a major river in the Western Coast. The tributaries that feed the river begin in the Kheldezir Hills to the south, in the rough and arid terrain that separates the temperate Western Coast from the Sangora Desolation. The river then flows north and east into the Chaska Sea.
Melzi, Llynno, and Enoth are the largest settlements along the Kafizin River. Most of the lands through which the river passes have relatively low permanent populations, though several seasonally nomadic tribes of humans and gnolls regularly set up temporary settlements along the river's banks.
