Lake Plegadis (pronounced pleh-GAH-diss) is a body of water in the Western Coast. While parts of the land around the lake have been cultivated, most of its shores remain covered by forests. Fey are more commonly encountered around Lake Plegadis than in the surrounding territory.
The shores of Lake Plegadis have long been home to various bandit factions who have found the sparsely populated landscape to be a perfect place to build encampments, from which they then venture farther out towards the coast and the Ludo River. In Y9950*, a religious order called the Servants of the Stag followed their eponymous spectral god to the region, after which the paladins decided to transform the region into a model for their faith. The bandits of Fallowshore, the largest settlement around Lake Plegadis, were defeated and pushed out of town in Y9952*, and the paladins have slowly grown the territory under their control since.
The only major settlements around Lake Plegadis are Fallowshore and Mellima. Mellima is the largest of the remaining bandit strongholds around the lake, and the brigands here have begun to actively push back the Servants of the Stag.
