Ketjur (pronounced KHET-jurr) is a city within the dwarven realm of Barat Tor. Located in the middle of a large strip mine where the dwarves have leveled the once-forested Kheldezir Hills, the city is surrounded by an expanse of exposed stone and soil.

At one time Ketjur contained almost double the population that now calls it home, but in the last century or so many of the city's former inhabitants have moved away, mostly to Avaz or settlements farther north. Economic opportunities in Ketjur have largely run dry after work in the nearby strip mines concluded. The city's refineries lie dormant, and entire neighborhoods are now sparsely inhabited. To the dwarves of Barat Tor, Ketjur has a reputation as a haven for unsavory types, not entirely unearned - in recent years the presence of bandits from the Western Coast has been tolerated in Ketjur, as long as they do not continue their illicit operations within the city itself.
