Acridae (pronounced AC-rid-ay) is an abandoned town in the Scourgelands, a now-depopulated region within the Western Coast. A relatively remote town located up the Rokola River, Acridae was the first to disappear after the emergence of the Scourge. The town was originally founded based on rumors of precious metals in the hills nearby, though even before the population vanished some had already left after finding nothing.
