The Wanassa River (pronounced wah-NAH-sah) is a major river in the Western Coast. The river begins in the easternmost part of the Kheldezir Hills before flowing north into the Chaska Sea. The Wanassa River stays at a low water level for most of the year, though it can flood its banks upon the arrival of the spring rains.
Fields of gluttongrass grow along the Wanass River for much of its route. Few live near the river as a result, aside from the communities of Tensha to the south and Precausa to the north.
