Maedia (pronounced MAY-dee-ah) is a town in the interior of the Western Coast, located on the banks of the Alcor River. Most residents of the town are descendants of immigrants from Khapesh that arrived in the region around Y9900*. The inhabitants of Maedia have retained many of their traditions, and are devout followers of the Khapeshan pantheon; a large temple to Tawaret stands in the middle of the town. Maedia gets a relatively small amount of visitors as there are few other settlements nearby.
