Ledra (pronounced LED-rah) is a small city located on an island of the same name within the Chaska Sea, often considered part of the Western Coast. Most of the settlement's population descends from refugees from the island of Peleset who decided to resettle rather than join the nascent Peleset Union. The people of the city remain closely culturally connected to the Akrotirian Isles, despite the distance from their former homeland.
Amongst the other coastal communities of the Western Coast, Ledrans have a reputation as excellent seafarers and navigators. Economically, the city relies almost entirely on the sea, and particularly on the catches of its fishers. Ledra maintains close ties with several Pelesetian fleets, who often use the port to resupply and berth for repairs.
