The Ishtaran pantheon (pronounced ish-TARR-an) is a group of living saints worshiped primarily by the inhabitants of Ishtar. Unlike most other saints, these individuals have attained their status while still among the living. In addition to their areas of concern, all Ishtaran living saints are associated with a particular region of the nation. Usually this is the area the saint was born in or played some role in shaping, but this is not always the case. A saint is likely to have most of their followers in this region of patronage, but their worship is not limited geographically.
