Beliefs
Attendants to the End believe the clocks built into the anchor sites were constructed by an ancient civilization that had been blessed with knowledge of the end times. To the Attendants, the clocks are a countdown to the next stage of the universe's existence, or the collapse of the current one and birth of the next.
Many amongst the Attendants have come to believe they must ensure instability within the world to make it ready for the final apocalypse. These Attendants actively attempt to bring about destruction, usually by means of large scale sabotage or random acts of violence - influential and powerful figures are particularly favored targets. Governments in regions where Attendants are known to be active have begun to heavy-handedly repress the entire movement as a result.
As with most followers of Erra, Attendants are highly diffuse and unorganized. There are no Attendant temples, and the only Attendant preachers are those that can be occasionally found on street corners, shouting their odd beliefs to anyone who will listen. Attendants usually wear highly tattered clothes, scavenged from garbage heaps or the remains of their past life - as to them the end is imminent, they do not seek to create anything new at all, even to maintain their own minimum level of well-being.
Followers
Attendants can be found mostly within Viridia, particularly in the western provinces. Small numbers of followers live elsewhere around the Chaska Sea as well, including in Tirione, southern Hellea, and Ishtar.
