Avaz (pronounced ah-VAZ) is the capital of the dwarven realm of Barat Tor. Avaz is located at the center of the dwarves' mining operations, with many strip mines and leveled hills in the surrounding landscape. The city itself is an unplanned and unordered jumble of stone buildings that was rapidly expanded without much forethought.
