The Bay of Ammit (pronounced AM-mit) is a small body of water in the southern Chaska Sea, commonly considered to be within the Western Coast. The coast in this region is arid but not inhospitable - while rocky and dry, plenty of plants and trees adapted to these conditions grow along the shoreline as well as farther inland.
The three ancient Khapeshan fortresses of Abednego, Meshach, and Shadrach are located around the Bay of Ammit. These immense sandstone edifices were built in the ancient and enduring Khapeshan style, with tall, sloped walls, flat roofs, and many vantage points. They have nevertheless decayed greatly in the more than five millennia since they were built, and today the forces of Nabopolassar's Host are actively attempting to restore these fortifications to their past glory.
