The Black Rose cults are a small sect of followers of the Blind Witness. One of the more esoteric of the Blind Witness cults, adherents of the Black Rose believe the void to be a place two deities inhabit - the home not only of the Black Rose, which is their name for the Witness, but also that of the Consuming Maw. Though innately destructive, they do not hold the Consuming Maw to be necessarily evil, as by devouring existence it makes room for the void of the Rose, which can be understood as a realm of possibility that the faithful can use to shape reality as they wish.

Few in number, most Black Rose cultists live in Eretrebus. They can be easily recognized in public through their religious garb, black veils that cover the face while leaving the rest of the head exposed.
