Enkoma (pronounced en-KOH-mah) is a small city in the Western Coast, located along the banks of the Resheph River. Despite its relative proximity to the coast of the Chaska, its inhabitants are nonetheless somewhat isolated, but by choice rather than by geography. They are largely descended from those who fled a now-abandoned coastal settlement several hundred years ago after persistent pirate raids left their community in ruins - as a result, they now remain inland and somewhat cloistered from the broader world, though they still warily permit the arrival of the occasional trader from downriver.
