Greenwood Landing is a small trade post within the Verdant Woods and the only permanently inhabited location in the region. The settlement serves as a stopping point for merchants from elsewhere to purchase valuable greenwood in exchange for guarantees to leave the forests alone.
There are exceptionally few permanent residents of Greenwood Landing. Only those approved by the arboreals may stay and they do not hand out such a privilege lightly. All other inhabitants of the outpost are merely there to pick up their materials, rest, and resupply. In some cases those interested in studying the arboreals attempt to remain for longer, before they are firmly yet nonviolently pressured to depart.
