Gnomish is a family of closely related languages spoken by gnomes across Kishar. While often considered a single language by non-gnomes, in reality there is significant variation between Gnomish dialects, sometimes to the degree that they lose mutual intelligibility.
The vast majority of Gnomish speakers live in the Wounds, where the language has been used in the formation of multiple creoles. Elsewhere Gnomish is almost entirely spoken within gnomish communities.
