Orcish is a family of closely related languages spoken by orcs across Kishar. While often considered a single language by non-orcs, in reality there is significant variation between Orcish dialects, sometimes to the degree that they lose mutual intelligibility.
Traditionally speakers of Orcish have eschewed writing in favor of maintaining stories and histories orally instead. As a result the language lacks any form of standardized writing system, often adapting whatever is used locally when the need arises.
