Shar Xai (pronounced SHAR k-SIGH) was a shar, or fortified city, on the Aban Steppe and the once-capital of the Moon Khanate. A raid by discontent targai tribes effectively destroyed the city in Y9710*, leveling it so completely that its remaining ruins can only be spotted on the steppe when one is standing right on top of them. These ruins lie roughly 60 miles to the northeast of the city of Qoyor.
