Zinassuntan (pronounced zin-ahs-SOON-tan) is a city in southwestern Abanir on the edge of the eastern foothills of the Zakros Range. Founded sometime in the eighth millennium by Dalbanu mercenaries, the city still shares a recognizable past with the nation across the mountains. The ancient ziggurat, once home to Zinassuntan's own procession of living saints, still stands in the center of the community, though it was long ago repurposed as a palace for local rulers. Dalbar and Telan, or at least highly distinct dialects of these languages, are as regularly heard on the streets of Zinassuntan as Targai.
