Narundi (pronounced nah-ROON-dee) is a small city within the Eastern Chaskan city-states, located near the source of the Streko River. Its inhabitants are unique in the region in their worship of the Kirnashal pantheon rather than the Chaskan deities more broadly popular around them. The reason for this is disputed amongst scholars and historians. The Narundians are not known to be the descendants of any Amshani clan, and neither is the city found along one of the popular trade routes leading from Amshan to the coast of the Chaska Sea - on the contrary, it is quite out of the way and relatively isolated.
