Kuwalanassis (pronounced koo-wah-lah-NASS-iss), or the Fort of Salt in Telan, is a long-abandoned Khapeshan fortress on the shores of the northern Lake of False Promise. Built sometime in the late fourth millennia to guard what was then the eastern-most borders of Khapesh, Kuwalanassis was neglected and fell into disuse when control of Khapesh's outer territories collapsed during the Time of the Empty Throne.
Though in a serious state of disrepair, today the fort is sometimes used by travelers passing by the area. There are no long-term inhabitants.
