Anaharath (pronounced ah-nah-HAH-rahth) is a major city-state along the eastern coast of the Chaska Sea. Located at the mouth of the Nestra River, most travelers to and from the Arrajan Wilds pass through Anaharath.
From Y8431* to Y8452* Anaharath was under the control of the necromancer and lich Belet-Shuthnir, who used the city as her capital as she conquered much of the eastern Chaskan seaboard. In the final battle outside of Anaharath in Y8452* between her undead armies the the crusader forces marshaled against her, half the remaining allied crusader force was flash-petrified, where they remain outside of the city today at the Field of the Victorious. With her soul cage destroyed and scattered, the body of Belet-Shuthnir was entombed and warded deep below Anaharath to seal it away, where she remains today.
