Selars (pronounced seh-LARS) is a city within the Eastern Chaskan city-states, located on the southern bank of the Nestra River roughly 200 miles from the coast of the Chaska Sea. It is the only tengu-majority city in the region - many of its current inhabitants are the descendants of several nomadic groups that wandered the Chaska for centuries until finally settling along the Nestra River in the late eighth millennium. The people of Selars keep many Meklovian traditions, including the worship of the Great Storyteller as a primary deity, though they are highly syncretic as is typical amongst tengu.
