Arthribis (pronounced arr-THREE-bis) is a major city in upper Khapesh, particularly known as the home of Per-Shentayet, an academy for scribes and those who seek to study the arcane magical arts. Arthribis is located around ten miles away from the Aur River, unusual for a Khapeshan city. The city's population of around 81,000 includes representatives of a large number of ancestries, especially for a city in the southern reaches of the kingdom. The branch of the adventurer's guild in Arthribis was recently closed after a series of misadventures involving smuggling undead from old pyramid endangered the city.
Arthribis' patron deity is Shentayet.
