Sile (pronounced SEE-lay) is a major city in Lower Khapesh. The grand temple to Sokar is the centerpiece of Sile - founded millennia ago, the rest of the city has since grown up around it. A significant percentage of the city, by land area, are a series of extensive gardens and parks, particularly around the temple. Despite the religious importance of the city, it is relatively small for its location in the delta, home to only around 44,000. Fourteen massive obelisks, each 15 feet in diameter and 60 feet high, circle around what is now the center of the city; these were located here before the founding of Sile, and legends hold they are why the city was settled in the first place.
Sile's patron deity is Sokar.
