Eshehi (pronounced ESH-eh-hee) is a language spoken primarily by the inhabitants of Shanidan, a nation in the northern Ilara Plateau in the Stormlands. Though it diverged from the dialect continuum of Aanar, the language of Bohaar, almost a millennia ago, it still retains enough similarity in structure and vocabulary that speakers of the two languages can understand each other with great difficulty.
To form plurals, speakers of Eshehi simply repeat the root noun. Two repetitions refer to many instances of a given noun, while three refer to all.
