The Bay of Huansan (pronounced hoo-AHN-sahn) is a body of water in western Meklaw. Enclosed on three sides by the large island, to the west it opens into the Invelaust Ocean. Many small tengu settlements dot the shores of the Bay, but the largest by far is the city of Huansan, which takes its name from the bay.
Seastacks are common throughout the Bay of Huansan, not only near the shore but also quite far out into the waters. While hazardous for passing ships, many are the sites of seabird nests, which thrive on the relative safety of the elevated rock outcroppings. Larger than the seastacks are the Isles of Paria, home to many thunderbirds, revered by the tengu of Meklaw.
