Timinhor (pronounced TIM-in-orr) is a major city in Lower Khapesh. Travellers to Timinhor are advised to watch their backs and purses - both petty thievery and more serious crimes are somewhat common, and the city’s reputation precedes it. A great deal of trade passes up and down the river through Timinhor, and many less savory types desire a part of that wealth. The city is run in large part by nearly institutionalized bribery and protection rackets - viziers are generally willing to look the other way (or engage in it themselves) as long as peace is kept, and city leadership that attempts reforms generally does not last long. Timinhor is also unique in having twin patron deities in Sekhmet and Bastet. While the temple to Sekhmet is larger and more prominent, the behaviors of many in the city naturally draw them to worship of Bastet. The city is also well known for the many, almost non-stop festivals that take place, most blurring the line between worship and revelry. Timinhor has a population of about 54,000, primarily human with minorities in many other races. In particular, a number of catfolk have settled in the area, drawn in part by the appeal of the city’s patrons and warm desert air.

Timinhor's patron deities are Sekhmet and Bastet.
