Kriruxl (pronounced kree-RUH-ksl) is a town in eastern Xatabra along the banks of the Yarbus River. Unlike with most other settlements in Xatabra, the inhabitants of Kriruxl live in their town year-round, largely as a result of the agricultural lifestyles they have adopted, farming fish and beetles.
The flooding of the Yarbus River is quite predictable from year to year, and though the town is built on mounts just taller than the high water mark, it has not been inundated for decades.
