The Some Call Us Friends is a Pelesetian ship within the West Horizon Fleet. Prior to joining the West Horizon Fleet in Y9969*, the Some Call Us Friends and its sister ship Some Call Us Outsiders were independent, unaffiliated with any nation. The captains of the two ships, Myrrhina and Trebatia Isauricus, are members of an influential Viridian senatorial family who either commissioned or commandeered the vessels, depending on how one asks.
Built in the grand shipyards of the Halakran port of Harpasus, the Some Call Us Friends is a well-made if typical Chaskan galley. In the years since its first voyage the ship has had additional metal plating and long spikes affixed to its hull, lending it an aggressive appearance. For a time the Some Call Us Friends was used as a privateering vessel, but since joining the West Horizon Fleet now serves as more of a deterrent to any particularly foolish pirates.
Though nominally elected captain, the crew of the Some Call Us Friends understand the vessel belongs to Myrrhina Isauricus, and her word is law as long as they are on board the ship.
