The Turquoise Oasis is a major oasis within Khapesh, roughly 50 miles from the Aur River. Ruins can be found around the shores, evidence of ancient settlements, but today few live around the oasis. Most communities near the oasis are of a similar size to Kerma.
The water in some parts of the oasis exhibits odd qualities when looked at directly, often inducing a sense of confusion and forgetfulness. Among other creatures, stymphalides are particularly common around the Turquoise Oasis.
