The Soul's End Islands are an archipelago far to the southwest of Meklaw, poorly mapped and unknown to most of the world. The tengu pirate Andan Cuyucha reached the islands with a small fleet in Y9777*, and many who attempted to find him later ended up stranded there as well.
Until Y9976*, the nascent demon lord Huzrotho was entombed under the Refuge, one of the islands in the archipelago.
Inhabitants
At some point in the distant past, the islands were inhabited by an ancient people. By the time of Cuyucha's arrival, only a small population of leshies remained.
After discovering the Refuge, some of Cuyucha's pirates mutinied and began worshiping the demon lord. By Y9976* most of the population of the archipelago was split between four small settlements. The cultists made their home in the Refuge, and the the leshies lived on an island roughly a hundred miles north. East of the lishies, Cuyucha and his remaining loyal crew maintained an outpost in the northeast side of the archipelago. The small independent town on Skeleton Island lay between all the others.
Charau-ka also lived in the Soul's End Islands, many of whom aligned with the cultists.
