The Wounds is a major region on Kishar. The term refers to the tropical islands of the Na-Gaesa Ocean and the various nations, cultures, and societies that have grown there. Adherents of the Beating Heart, a major religion within the Wounds, believe the volcanic islands upon which they live to be injuries on the form of the earth god they worship - while many inhabitants of the Wounds follow other faiths instead, the name is nonetheless used by all.
Inhabitants
Humans, dwarves, elves, gnomes, locathah, and sahuagin are all common on the Wounds. Giants, orcs, tengu, and others can be found as well, but are less widespread.
