Old Khapeshan (pronounced kah-PESH-an) is a dead language formerly spoken within Khapesh. Today the language only sees use in a scholarly context, with many learned individuals continuing to use Old Khapeshan for scientific, arcane, or clerical purposes. Across Khapesh many old tombs and ruins bear inscriptions in Old Khapeshan , and some adventurers have found it useful to pick up at least a cursory understanding of the language as a result.
