Tantamani (pronounced tahn-tah-MAH-nee) is a town in northern Xatabra where the Aur River begins at shores of Lake Nulukkhaz. It is the only major settlement in the region where the majority of its inhabitants are of Khapeshan descent, though they have been joined over the centuries by lizardfolk and dwarves as well. Like with Hewa far to the north, the people of Tantamani still largely consider themselves Khapeshan, even though the kingdom has had no meaningful presence so far south in many centuries.
