Red Bay is a small, enclosed body of water in the northern Kirnashal Sea. Geographically on the southern edge of the Aban Steppe, for centuries Red Bay has been under Amshani. Its name comes from the unusual red sand of its beaches.
Narbanden is by far the largest settlement around Red Bay, located at the mouth of the Titan's River, but small villages dot its shores as well. The narrow entrance to the bay is guarded by the Palace of the Bay, a massive fortress originally intended as a retreat for Amshani dynasts but quickly converted into a military installation. Though the region was not the initial focus of Amshani colonization of southern Abanir, it is now where most of the population along the northern coast of the Kirnashal Sea is concentrated.
