The Red Forest Hills are a region of the southern Oasis within the territory claimed by Bura'khab. Sparsely populated, save for the town of Hallan on their northern edge, the Red Forest Hills are a rugged, barren, and harsh landscape. Though once densely covered by verdant trees, the ever-shifting Storm-Path has in recent centuries brought the edge of the Great Tempests over the hills, and now what little grows there is killed once the storms pass yet again in their endless cycle. All that remains of the old forests are desiccated tree trunks, most still standing, all covered in a thick layer of red dust deposited by the winds.
