The Shaushkan Forest (pronounced SHAU-shkan) is a major tropical forest in northern Brightmarch. Tall mesas rise above the canopies of the dense forest below, with both the upper and lower altitudes home to many animals, magical beasts, and people. Parts of the forest, particularly around the Mezulla River, flood in the rainy season each year, inundating the landscape with water.
