Tabaha Bay (pronounced tah-BAH-hah) is a body of water connects with the Mhasmuth Ocean. The bay effectively wraps around the island of Larthial, opening into the ocean to both the east and west of the island.

Historically Tabaha Bay was frequently trafficked by Oscan merchants and fishers, but after the rise of the undead in the kingdom the ships that used to ply the bay have almost vanished. The survivors in Aesar largely sail away from the bay, intentionally giving it a wide berth both out of superstition and to avoid very real dangers. The undead that appeared across Oscan in Y9940* did not limit themselves to the borders of the kingdom, and the remains of those who died out at sea were animated as well. Once the evacuations began in earnest, many skeletons and zombies wandered out to sea as they followed the departing ships, joining their drowned brethren beneath the waves. Today many undead lurk just beneath the surface of the water, pursuing with surprising and alarming speed any ships they detect.

Though many of the various tribes of Talmithe fish in the Tabaha Bay, they tend to remain close to the coast. Even the elves of the Great House Hathna prefer to stay near their stilt-palaces rather than venturing into deeper waters, except when necessary to trade or travel to the mainland.
