The Apophis (pronounced ah-PAH-fiss) was a pirate bireme captained by Rocco "Three-Eye" until it was taken over by a group of adventurers. Originally a Khapeshan warship, the Apophis was equipped with magically-driven oars and armed with both light and heavy ballistas.
Rocco and the adventurers took the Apophis to the Soul's End Islands in Y9976* in search of the legendary tengu pirate Andan Cuyucha. The ship sustained heavy damage in the archipelago, though it remained seaworthy.
The Apophis continues to sail as a pirate ship, restored and under a new captain.
