Kea Racha (pronounced KAY-ah RAH-chah) is a large island on the southern edge of the Kilche Sea. Both the island itself and the many smaller ones surrounding it have long histories, most notably as the heartland of the Sangiran Empire under the Eternal Suzerain, a reincarnating draconic god.
Inhabitants
For millennia the entirety of Kea Racha was under the control of the Sangiran Empire, but today the last remaining rump state of this once great domain controls only part of the island. The rest lies within Langkha, Kintaka, Vua Ran, and Lelwani, all independent once more, as well as within the volcanic lands of Koamun where the Divine Inheritors no longer hold sway.
Geography
The island is roughly divided between the expansive grasslands and low density forests of the north and the tropical forests and jungle of the south. Innumerable rivers run across the landscape, most originating within the mountain ranges of the Suzerain's Horns, Suzerain's Scales, and Suzerain's Teeth. Other mountains include the volcanic Wrathpeaks on the Wildrock Peninsula and the island chain of the southeast.
Under the Eternal Suzerain's direction, significant parts of Langkha, especially around the rivers, were converted into massive stretches of farmland that now feed the entire island and more.
Climate
Located near the equator, Kea Racha is hot year-round. Regular monsoons bring great amounts of water and flooding to the island, providing its inhabitants with their seasons in the process.
