Tasha (pronounced TAH-shah) is the northernmost major city in Oscan and one of the few spared from the undead hordes that rose across the kingdom in Y9940*. Now led by General Tarchon Lasa, the few remaining members of the Lionwatch, and and a small fraction of the once-mighty Oscan military, the city continues to hold out against the seemingly ceaseless undead, hoping for the arrival of support from outside.

Functionally, the Deathlands have had no government since the collapse of the kingdom decades ago. Tasha is under a military protectorate, led by General Tarchon Lasa and the remainder of his forces. Disobeying orders is punished harshly here, though most understand this is a consequence of the lack of resources and persistent undead threat they face.
Though the government of Tasha tries hard to quash these beliefs, underground cults to both Lotan and Erra have formed in the city. While the former actively attempts to undermine the security of the city, the latter still pose a problem by refusing to work and proselytizing others to join their nihilistic religion.
