Merulus (pronounced mer-OOH-lus) of the Numida dynasty was the first king of Viridia. In the early years of the eighth millenium, Merulus carved a realm for himself out of the disparate patchwork of nations in western Thadria, today part of the imperial province of Attalea Major, before declaring himself monarch of the new nation in Y7030*.
