Merulus (pronounced mer-OOH-lus) of the Numida dynasty was the first king of Viridia. In the early years of the eighth millennium, Merulus carved a realm for himself out of the disparate patchwork of nations in western Thadria, today part of the imperial province of Attalea Major.
