The Itzazoa Reef (pronounced it-zah-ZOH-ah) is a large reef in the Wounds to the north of, and around, the Angry Kings. The reef is notable for its buoyant corals, large formations that, through managing air pockets within, are able to remain above the seafloor yet below the surface. Though some outsiders have described the hovering of the corals above the ground as eerie, the Itothani locathah of the Itzazoa Reef view them as holy manifestations of their reef-god and go to great lengths to protect them.
